Through My Eyes - Subtle Color

Sorry for the lack of posts, but I had a raging sinus infection last week and honestly couldn't get my thoughts together enough to post anything. This will be another visual post just because I am losing a work day this week to a field trip so I don't have time for a long post. I hope to get an artist interview up tomorrow (keep your fingers crossed).

These are just some nature items that inspired me this week. Notice the subdued coloring that caught me eye. I can't promised that they will make it in to my work, but they are inspiring none the less.

Here is a gorgeous Etsy front page created by PianoBenchDesigns that I could imagine being inspired by these photos and their subtle colors and texture:

Those sinus headaches are killer! I hope you are much better now :o

Thanks for the Obama widget! And thank you for sharing your gorgeous photographs with us. That first one is incredible (but they are all wonderful, as usual). Get well!

Thank you both! I am doing much better today. This is only my 2nd one ever, and it was in my cheek sinus, so I felt like a I had a toothache along with a swollen cheek and the rest of the fun symptoms.

You're welcome Carol Dean for the widget. I have been meaning to add one for a while. Just trying to help any way I can.

Beautiful inspiration shots. They remind me of sand dunes in the fall. Hope you feel better!

Gorgeous photos. They are so soft and subtle. Thank you for the comparison to my treasury. I had such a nice time creating that one. I am a big fan of your work, by the way!
