This is a rather obvious inspiration for those of us in the throes of Fall. The bright colors, the texture of the leaves as they dry, the interesting patterns and color combinations created by the transformation and decay of the leaves. Even the sound of them crackling under your feet is inspiring. Watching them blow in the wind is enough to take you breath away and jumping into them can bring out the kid in just about everyone! Here is a post from last Fall where I go into more detail about the inspiration from leaves:

Here are some recent pictures and my most recent treasury list to help with a little visual inspiration.
All pictures taken by me (can you tell I've been a bit obsessed with the leaves?)

Beautiful pictures..and all the leaves are wonderful..Like fall, but not too happy with what follows..
I wish there were more leaves around here. But sadly, November in west central Texas is still warm, and most of the leaves are still on the trees. What few trees we have. I sure do love looking at them though.
Beatiful leaves!!!
Nice treasury ! I love the falling leaves and let them fall where they may, I only clean up the ones by the door.
Whenever I see the ground covered in bright yellow maple leaves, I get a big smile on my face and the world seems like prettier place. =)
I just discovered you through your ETSY feature. Congratulations! Your art is fantastic - truely unique...I'm in awe right now to be honest.
Your work looks like the positive results of a block print - only in 3-D.
You have a new fan!
