I think my last post may have been a bit to wordy since I only got 1 response so far, so I will make this a little easier:
I am looking to collaborate with my readers to create an ACEO. I will add anyone who contributes with a comment into a drawing for the finished ACEO. I am currently looking for suggestions about the theme or main subject of the ACEO. So share your 2 cents with a comment and be entered to win an OOAK ACEO! Then continue to follow along and help with imagery and color scheme . Don't be shy!! Any idea will be considered! Let's see what we can come up with together! See my Feb 15th post for the details behind this project.
Hopefully that was easier to follow! Let's hear your suggestions!

Are you begining with a blank slate? Or starting with the tree you've posted?
My comment was going to be the scheme of Blue and Orange (My favorite combination)
Your trees are beautiful by the way :)
Thanks artpfunk! I am beginning with a clean slate. Currently I am looking for a theme or subject suggestions. I will keep your color scheme in mind for another tree. I took color suggestions for that designs and will be completing a series based on the suggestions!
What about a Deer in Orange with a yellow, blue and green Woods Background?
Well, the people, places and animals of Africa have always been inspiring to me, the colors the continent invokes are also wonderful..I'd love to see where something like that would go!
I like weather...sunny, stormy, cloudy, snowy...
I think clouds and the sun are my favorites though.
I'd say it's just about Bunny theme time.
How about a aussie-style turtle with lime and ochre?
I think it's the right time of year for a spring theme - maybe I'm just looking for inspiration to pull me through the slushy month and a half.
How about a foliate head? I was inspired looking at pics of the Green Men/Cats that grace the old European churchs. A head made of/sprouting/disgorging vegetation allows for all sorts of derivations. Color, types of vegatation, and time of year (winter for example)
I've made kelp, underwater, vines, and bark faces. I like to make them female since there are few known carving of a Green Woman.
Green Men/Women to me depict the symbiotic relationship that mankind has with nature. That is probably why mine all tend to look annoyed or tortured these days.
Or a Sheela na Gig would be interesting. They are on my to-do list.
Wikipedaia has descriptions and pics of both.
What about an African plain? I love the shapes of their trees against a huge sunset. I'm not sure the type of tree, but I'm guessing it's not too difficult to find out. But a color scheme of oranges, reds, dusty brown and a hint of dark green perhaps?
I'm so glad I happened upon your blog. I love your work, so unique and interesting. I'm a sucker for trees!
Theme suggestions: giraffe, an orange, a hand

I like the idea of animals of Africa or the African plain. I would enjoy a theme inspired by any exoctic or colorful place - India, China, Japan, the Carribean, Mexico - you get my drift.
Hmm...I love your new fruits! Maybe you could go that route with a piece?
I also think that it would be pretty cool to see you incorporate some type of animal in your piece.
Have fun!!
What about watermelon...shades of green and pale pink.Absolutly not my coloures, but together they do summer magic
Something with spring, maybe a cherry blossom tree, really light colors (white, ivory, soft pink, yellows)
The springtime theme a couple of others mentioned sounds very nice to me....
